The Cuyuna Lakes Trail Association is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit and is 100% all-volunteer.
Current Needs
2022/2023 - Important survey and preliminary design work in support of two major initiatives:
Extend the Cuyuna Lakes State Trail from it’s existing Riverton Trailhead, to the Sagamore Unit of the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area
In coordination with other stakeholders, exploring potential routes from the Sagamore Unit to the City of Brainerd, more than doubling the current length of the Cuyuna Lakes State Trail
On-Going Expenses
On-going expenses are occasionally administrative in nature, including necessary tax and legal filings, as well as technology fees. Donations in support of these activities is appreciated.
As an advocate for the Cuyuna Lakes State Trail, the Cuyuna Lakes Trail Association may coordinate grant applications, solicit matching funds, pursue land acquisition, direct surveys and site planning, engage in fund raising and other activities in support of the Trail’s continued growth and success.

Physical Check - Please make payable to the Cuyuna Lakes Trail Association and mail to PO Box 908, Brainerd MN 56401.
On-line Form - In partnership with GiveMN, on-line donations are accepted through the form below.
Donors paying by check will be mailed a physical donation receipt directly from the Cuyuna Lakes Trail Association. Those paying through the on-line form will be emailed a donation receipt from GiveMN.
